I have thought awful hard about putting rocks under in, but i don't know. as it sets right now with a 40" tire, 35" on it in that pic, in the rear there's about 6" of upward travel before worries and in front with a different offset wheel it has about 4" of upward travel.
got it painted today, accomplished what i wanted it to. when i come across a hood that's not bear to crap i will put a real paint job on it.

I think we are talking about two different rocks me-rockwell you-boulders, but I do agree. The only thing really holding me back is having to run sch a large tire with them.

A custom built one... When the truck was being built, it was designed to be a tow rig, has gooseneck hitch, and it's ridiculously overbuilt. Currently it has a GM 1 ton 2wd front suspension, plans are to convert it to 4wd one of these days. I'll get some pics tomorrow.
I would love to go something big and rediclous, but the truck is so wide I just don't think it would make a good crawler. It has a Sterling rear right now.
I think the plan is to finish the truck as a tow rig and then get to work on my 63' Willys wagon as the real toy.

Actually does pretty good for what it is has 4.10 with a locker. Again the truck wus put together to be a tow rig, not a mudder.

Standard OldYelr recovery gear, carry it with me all the time. Only used once to remove a stob in front of rtfrt a-arm, and that was 3 or 4 years ago... I respect the park.
