Starting with Monkeygrip's famous last dive.... Got the distributor wet and decided to get new tires:grin:

Jordan here is the vid of the yota popping the rear. I think it was open in the front and welded in the rear. I remember him saying the axles were stock other than that.

Thanks! I see that those are cut 44s, and that's pretty nuts for Toyota axles to stand up to that. Plus, he has a V8, sounds like. DANG :shocked: How they survived that long, I dunno...

It's a pretty old thread but the Firetower Road I know in those parts is off Sulpher Springs Rd./ Hwy 54 between Sulpher Springs and Grapevine. We used to go down there to climb the tower and drink beerz and stuff back in the mid/late 70s.
Man I'm gettin old.

Its gated up and the only time you can ride is when the man with key the lets you in. You can see the tower from Lee Springs Road.
