Actually I left the Zuke at the competition's house for the week. I'll be back this weekend. Klause, Mark, Scott and I are gonna go play. Anyone else who wants to join in is welcome.

If you ask me it was a pretty dead nutz comp. as far as ability. Each of us had difficulty in different spots but made it all the way. Although, I do believe the Zuke took the finesse award. Scot's rig definitely gets the job done, but with a lot more clang and bang. The Samurai sports a 130:1 final crawl ratio where Scot's is around 70:1 I believe. He's also got 3 times the motor, which makes it easier to hop the rocks instead of crawl.

I had a great time, even though I got there late. I think the audience took the comp way more seriously than the competitors did. The actual comp never came up between Scot and I. I just picked his brain about clutch problems and we talked about the fam. James says he showed me up but I'm not sure when that happened. He makes me laugh. Scott and I finished our stuff really quick and then ended up waiting for the rest of the group. Billy broke a shock mount and John decided to have an exhibition on Slammer right in the middle of our competition. Gary also shattered his front end. And then we had a couple of stragglers. One Rubicon and one tiny little Sammy. Both of them required a good amount of spotting. Thank God they didn't try outlaw.

I feel good about the whole thing and I retract none of my previous statements about the Sammy's capability. It's neck & neck with Scott's rig and that's good enough for me.
