Tech Spt in May for Funston

There are three races at Funston in May we need to cover:

- May 1 (Steve, Mike (afternoon only), anyone else??)
- May 15 (Deron)
- May 29 (Alan, Jed?, who else?)

Post up for which races you know/might be able to cover.

As for me, I plan to be there May 15 only;
I'll be out May 1 & 29.

False alarm :o I put the wrong date in that post. I do plan to be there.

We need to show @ 1500. The first tech is after the first class, and that class only has a couple of trucks in it.
I will be there at 1430 to get the last word on the procedure that they decided on. ;)

Second race at Funston in May is coming up this Saturday.

I plan to get to the track 2:30 - 2:45pm.

Alan, Jed: You still planning on helping with tech support also?

Anyone else going to be there for tech support, participate, or just to watch?

I will try to make it but I have been working on my ram assist steering..............if I get it done in time I will be there

I have to go to a graduation on Saturday, so I will not be able to make it. :-/ Kinda sucks graduations are boring.

I was a little late getting there, but I covered the races yesterday. Good time, though I know I definitely want to get there early so I can park my vehicle close to the staging area so I'll have ready access a chair and drinks.

Had a good discussion with Logan following the races. He said he would pay the tech crew $40 for each race, not the $25 they were paying last year.

Hopefully, we can get a banner to put out there soon.

Deron, glad you could make it. Thank you for your help! Sorry i did not get to post anything yesterday thanking you. I was a little ill in bed all day yesterday. Anyway, good deal about the $40. That will help out some.

Deron did a wonderful job. He got the trucks lined up in the staging area and even performed the couple of tech inspections we needed. I didn't get to help him as much as i had hoped, but i was pulled in all directions.

Again, Funston Speedway would like to thank all of the LRC for there help and dedication.

Hey guy's, I don't know if I have met all of you yet, and if I have met you I probably don't remember ( short memory). I am one of the announcers, the one that walks around, and I just want to say "THANKS",because at times it would be a nightmare without you guys helping out. I hope to meet you all, and remember your names, but it may take a while. I also plan to attend one of your events sometime this year, if things work out for me. I just wanted to say thanks and we'll see you this weekend.

Just heard that Steve will be out of town this weekend; so will I.

Alan: are you able to cover the race this weekend?

Jed: At one point, you indicated you might be able to help also.
