Yes, it's official!!

We have our first committed sponsor - Tom Woods Custom Driveshafts!!!

Tom is considered to be "the man" in the custom driveshaft industry.

Now you have incentive to pay your dues and ensure your membership is current.

Hopefully we can get some other sponsors lined up also so there are even more benefits for active members.

Anyone in the club is welcome to approach businesses for club sponsorship. I have a form to use so we capture the agreement in writing. Each agreement is in place for one year and then will be reviewed to see if we and the sponsor want to continue the relationship.

Let me know if you have questions.

Do we still have Cabot tire and Offroad as a sponsor? What about Mud Connection? Did Interstate Batteries ever jump on board as well?

I've removed all previous sponsors until we get confirmation and written agreement they want to continue as a sponsor.

I have been meaning to follow up on this but obviously have not gotten around to it.

If you frequent any of our previously listed sponsors, feel free to open the discussion. Keep me informed with who you speak with, and we can work out how to "close the deal."

Mud Connection was never listed as a sponsor, and I never heard back from Alan regarding Interstate Batteries (discounted Optima batteries) after I sent him the sponsorship form.

If anyone wants to follow up with Mud Connection or that Interstate battery manager, go for it!!

Where can I get the sponsor letters at? If there aren't available on the web page, is it possible to put them on here so they can easily be obtained and printed out?

BJ: Sent you the form.

Mud390: Great idea! I'll get Mike to post it. In the meantime, I'll send it to you via email.

You (any current member) can use the form to get everything in writing from the owner/manager of the store.

Get the filled out form to one of the club officers (currently Steve, Larry, Mike, or me) so we can confirm it's an appropriate business that reflects well on our club (sorry, not looking to get Hooters as one of our sponsors), and one of us will sign it to make the agreement official.
