ON may 28th, a local mudracer was badly burned duringa race in Augusta after his truck caught fire. He is in need of a blood transfussion. Follow this link to find out more informaiton.

He is still in The Arkansas Children Burn Unit.They still have him comotose so please if you or someone you know can donate type O positive blood call this number in Searcy Arkansas for information.

I am O something. I think it is positive. I called that number and left a message after posting this morning. I called back twice more throughout the day. The message said their office hours were from 8-4:30 M-F

Must be a holiday that I don't know about or something... ??? ??? ???

I have found one donor with O+. He is going to call today to schedule a donation.

Ok I have my friend Omar scheduled to donate this afternoon. From what the Red Cross said he still needs blood. If this is still true please let me know as I am in the Air Force and can probably get more volunteers if needed.

I got a hold of someone. I am O-, which they can still use I guess. I am going there in the morning at 9:00.

I just got back. They said that he has used a lot of blood. That is all I know.

They can use only O- and O+ blood for transusions for Danny.

I cannot donate for him (I'm A+) but I do donate every 3 months. All I can say is please, please donate and help save a life.

It takes only about 15 minutes, and is less painful then paying for a new differential locker. And then the red cross will ensure your OK to leave, then your on your way, tops, 20 minutes total.

I talked to Nita yesterday when I went there and she said if you have any blood type you can donate platelets for him as well. She said he is badly burned and the doctor said he needs 25 units of blood and platelets. She said so far the response for people donating for him is pretty good.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

Got a message yesterday. Danny is doing better and is ready to come off the Ventilator. He is still not out of the woods, but he is making improvements. He will still have several surgeries left and is Blood donations can still be made in his name for his future use.
