I thought I'd start a thread on tow rigs since many of us hold them in very high esteem. *
I pull with a 95 F-350 Power Stroke. *I don't know the exact weight but I Loaded the Stroke and the trailer with wet dirt(for my yard of course) and hauled it home. *I didn't have it weighed but by the looks of all of the tires it was a hell of a lot. *My 4x4 weighs about 4000 lbs *it doesn't cause any tire deflection on the trailer at the tire pressures I "was" running. *But when that track-hoe loaded me down, those tires looked flat. *Plus I loaded the bed of the truck until it was flowing over the sides. *I know I got at least 12000 lbs of dirt. *Oh how I wish I could have weighed it. *I think I may have had up to 15000 lbs. *That was some wet shizznit. *I drove straight to the nearest truck-stop, aired up the trailer tires, and cruised home with ease. * ;D ;D ;D
