Anybody have details on that slick little single axle, tandem wheel Superlift car hauler trailer? I can't seem to get that idea out of my head when I think about building a new lighter weight hauler trailer. Is there any suspension on it or does it rely on the vehilce suspension and tire pressure alone. I would really like to get some of the design and material data on that 'lil beast!

Never seen or heard of it but sounds Interesting
am I reading this right, single axle with dual wheels?
Wouldn't think you would be able to unhook loaded without a buttload of tongue weight

Daryl I'm with you I'd like to have that one myself. Let me see if I can come up with some photos on it
I talked to one of the guys from Superlift about it a few years ago about it. He said it was a very picky trailer. had to load the same Jeep the same way every time or it pulled like sh!t. Makes since. But it sure is sweet looking.

I pulled a single axle (10.5K) single wheel (12ply) to Disney that Mike West had and it pulled great, very easy to maneuver. The only time it acted different is if you hit a dip hard it would bounce a little. It was a heavy pig but no big deal even behind my halfton.
The little superlift trailer was sweet. Even Kevin (the superlift engineer who built it) said it wasn't worth the time and money he had in it. It was built for a specific wheelbase, and a lifted pintle hitched tow rig, so it was just about useless for anything but a stockish wheelbase TJ/YJ.

that trailer would be real easy to build and cheaper to build than you think .
