Do this for me. This is not a cut and paste.
Go out to your back porch, lean back in a comfortable chair, look up at the stars, breath in the cool night air(smells like honeysuckle here) and think about how free you are right now.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Dude...she is spent. To much media/interviewing made her look bad politically even when she was right. Need someone with no Washington ties what so ever to say "What the HeII are we doing!" and find some way to start over with the political system and start listing to the public vote/ opinion.

My daily stress relief is simple.
Kickstand up. Go for a ride.
Sigh in utter contentment as the sights, sounds and smells fly past.
There's no greater stress reliever for me than a ride on a motorcycle.

Oh I think our government needs some major changes, and I am not talking about kicking out all of the incumbents, and starting with a fresh bunch. I am talking about a complete overhaul, to get things back to the way our forefathers wanting them. That won't happen without a major revolution.

Paranoia huh? Ever heard of Netnutrality?
Here's just one example of a sign of things to come.
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Meanwhile you are coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don't always rank that high on the truth meter. With iPods and iPads and XBOX's and PlayStations, none of which I know how to work, information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation.
So information is bad for us. We don't need to know what's going on. Just shut up and color! Many of us don't know anyway.

Failed Earmark Policy: "Obama criticized pork barrel spending in the form of 'earmarks,' urging changes in the way that Congress adopts the spending proposals. Then he signed a spending bill that contains nearly 9,000 of them, some that members of his own staff shoved in last year when they were still members of Congress. 'Let there be no doubt, this piece of legislation must mark an end to the old way of doing business, and the beginning of a new era of responsibility and accountability,' Obama said."
Failed Earmark Policy: There is no transparency and no posting of bills on the internet 72 hours before signing the bill in Obama's first 100 days. It is business as usual in pork barrel spending and special interests lobbying as we accumulate massive deficits that will injure the economy forever.
Failed Earmark Policy: So this is the change that Obama promised. Looks like business as usual and that Nancy Peolosi is running the government with Obama as her lap dog.

Failed Earmark Policy: "Done right, earmarks have given legislators the opportunity to direct federal money to worthy projects that benefit people in their district, and that's why I have opposed their outright elimination," Obama said. "But the fact is that on occasion, earmarks have been used as a vehicle for waste, and fraud and abuse. Projects have been inserted at the 11th hour, without review, and sometimes without merit, in order to satisfy the political or personal agendas of a given legislator, rather than the public interest." ---Obama remarks 3-10-09 Another Obama Failed Policy in Obama's own words

Hey Shrek, hope youre doing ok. Im not making this post to be a smart *** or try to be sarcastic in any way......its just for a simple debate...so please dont take it the wrong way bro. I couldnt agree more on "voting the bastards out", but my problem with this approach is this. To me, when I sit down and look at the candidates to pick from to place my vote.......I cant find an honest one in the group. Its one liar after the next. The whole system needs tore down. Theres too many deeply embedded wrongs that just continue from one crook to the next. Voting for president.......I just didnt even vote because I didnt like any of my choices. Gee......which millionaire lying politician do I vote for??? Hmmmm??? Which person do I hate the least??? Its ridiculous that its gotten to that point. I see corruption at every level of our govenrment and no one is doing a **** thing about it besides passing the bills for it on to us.....the citizens who are expected to just shutup and pay for it all while the rich get richer and the middle class and below suffer and continue to have to live off of less and less every year while the economy spins out of control. Once again.....just my opinion and it wasnt meant as any type of attack on you personally or your beliefs or ideals. Take care.....Doug

Doug,
No need to be on the defensive with me. I completely agree with you. I don't know what to do either. Not in this state(Arkansas) anyway. But there are other states in which there are(I think) honest brokers running. Hopefully they do well.

I just wish we could change the policies on the way gvmt spends money. Most of you probably don't know how it works. Every year your on a budget based on last year's spending so if you don't spend all of your money this year, you might not get as much next year. So in many cases money gets spent just because it "needs" to be spent. To top it of, they call it "fallout money". I guess that means it just fell out of somebody's freakin pocket so they need to spend it.:(
Why can't the people incharge of handing out money listen to the experts who know(or at least have a good idea of) what we need to get the freakin job done year to year??? And if an agency "honestly" comes up short, then you give them more. Do you know how much waist that would prevent??? Is there anything wrong with this logic?

Only if you are a millionaire politician who is out of touch with the people from living the high life for too long, never worrying about how you'll pay your mortgage next month or if you can afford gas for the week just to get to work if your lucky enough to have a job!
Regan was the last "peoples" president, he was not a stinkin lawyer or "comunity organizer", just a down to earth person who also happened to have been an actor who started with nothing so he knew where people were coming from.
